Those of you signed up to the Gizeh Records newsletter will already know the exciting news that Glissando are set to release their second album The World Without Us in November. Having worked on the artwork design with Rich, the duo were sweet enough to use one of my photographs for the front cover. I haven't stopped listening to the album since I heard the initial mixes and the all-analog equipment used to master the tracks by the amazing Nils Frahm adds a warmth and fullness that makes all the hair on the back of my neck stand on end. The last track, Still (II), featuring guest vocals from the lovely Lidwine, is my favourite; kind of makes you feel like your heart is breaking and covered in goosebumps at the same time. Please take time to check it out, it really is stunning and all your support is what keeps little labels like Gizeh going in these difficult financial times.
